He became a regular visitor, always going back for second helpings as an excuse to talk to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After three weeks he plucked up the courage to ask her out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She turned him down gently.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He decided that she hadn\u2019t really meant it, and persisted in asking her out on every occasion he saw her. He spent most of his wages buying her flowers. He would spend hours writing her poetry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She soon was fed up of all his pestering, and told her adoptive father, who was the boss of the factory about her problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael was called into the office.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf you don\u2019t persist in this harassing of my daughter, we\u2019ll issue a Restraining Order against you.&nbsp; That will mean you losing your job here.&nbsp; It\u2019s up to you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael was aghast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut we\u2019re soul mates.&nbsp; She is the girl I\u2019ve dreamt of all my life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll make this very clear.&nbsp; Sally has told me that she wants nothing to do with you.&nbsp; You\u2019re under a delusion.&nbsp; Either leave her alone or there\u2019s the door.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He left the office and went to find Sally to profess his undying love to her.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He heard her laugh in the distance, as he approached the canteen. On turning the corner, he saw her in the arms of a colleague.&nbsp; He felt the red mist descending and struck out and punched him so hard that he fell to the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rather than Sally thanking him for protecting her, she rushed to the man\u2019s aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Restraining Order didn\u2019t stop how he felt about her.&nbsp; There was the same magnetic pull as when they first met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He knew that he was bonded to her for life and that he couldn\u2019t live without her any longer, if he couldn\u2019t have her then no one else was going to.&nbsp; He waylaid her one night on her way home.&nbsp; He pretended to be contrite, to make her listen.&nbsp; Then after bundling her into his van, he drove back to Scotland,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He killed her the same night, and ate her flesh.&nbsp; This way he knew they could never be parted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jury heard how the inexplicable link between the twins, lead to Sally\u2019s death.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael closed the door of his adoptive parents house for the last time.\u00a0 Now was the time to make his way in the world.\u00a0 He was to transfer to his firm\u2019s sister company in South Wales.&nbsp; It was a long way from Scotland but he felt that he needed his own space.
